Join us for the Point Venture Open House Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Hosted by the Emily Dieckmann Real Estate Team, this exciting community event invites buyers, neighbors, and real estate enthusiasts to tour a variety of beautiful homes in Point Venture while participating in a fun scavenger hunt. Guests will pick up their official game card at the guard shack, explore participating homes, and search for unique features as clues. Each clue earns a sticker — and every sticker collected increases your chances of winning great prizes.
After the hunt, everyone is invited to the Caddie Shack for a complimentary lunch and the official prize giveaway at 12:30 PM. Whether you’re looking for your dream home, exploring what Point Venture has to offer, or simply enjoying a lively community event, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with neighbors, discover new properties, and have fun along the way. Check In & Pick Up Your Game Card
Arrive at the Point Venture guard shack at 9:00 AM to register.
Pick up your official Scavenger Hunt Game Card and MAP of participating homes.
Visit Open Houses & Search for Clues
Stop by the participating open houses. (Look for YELLOW signs in the front yards)
Each home has a hidden scavenger hunt item. When you find it, show your game card to the hosting Realtor.
Collect Stickers
For every home you visit and find the clue, the Realtor will place a sticker on your game card.
The more stickers you collect, the more entries you’ll earn toward the prize drawing!
Maximize Your Chances
Try to visit all of the homes before the hunt ends at 12:00 PM sharp.
Each sticker = one prize entry.
Return Your Game Card
Head back to the guard shack at Point Venture no later than 12:00 PM.
Turn in your completed game card to be entered into the drawing.
Head to the Caddie Shack for Lunch
After dropping off your card, drive over to the Caddie Shack.
Enjoy a free lunch as a thank-you for participating!
Prize Giveaway at 12:30 PM
The official prize drawing begins at 12:30 PM at the Caddie Shack.
Must be present to win.
You must start at the guard shack to receive your official game card.
Only game cards returned by 12:00 PM will be eligible for prizes.
One sticker = one prize entry.
Must be present at the Caddie Shack for the prize giveaway at 12:30 PM to claim your prize.
Be respectful of the homes you visit—no touching things or opening closed doors.

Check in, grab breakfast, network.
Brief review of rules, safety, and flow of the day.
Collect your sticker sheets and yellow “Participating Home” sign.
Confirm any final instructions (e.g., what your clue is).
Place the yellow sign in the front yard—this alerts players your home is part of the game.
Set up your home (your own sign-in sheet if you’re doing a host prize).
Welcome your required industry professional (see “Staffing” below).
Players will search for the designated item/clue in your home.
When they find it, place one sticker on their official game card.
(Optional) Offer food/drink or a host-specific prize to boost engagement.
Keep the yellow sign visible.
One sticker per player card per home (after they find your item).
If you’re offering a host prize, use your own sign-in sheet to capture leads.
Stop admitting new players.
Remove the yellow sign, gather remaining stickers/materials.
Return your yellow sign and stickers to the Caddie Shack at noon.
Enjoy free lunch with the group.

Industry professionals are an essential part of the scavenger hunt team! You’ll support your Realtor, gain visibility with attendees, and get in front of potential clients while helping make the event run smoothly.
Provide 100 branded items for participant swag bags.
No koozies, paper flyers, or loose business cards (branded, useful items only).

Deadline: Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
⚠️ If swag is not delivered on time, you may not be invited to participate next year.
Each industry professional must provide one gift valued at $100 or more for the prize drawing.
Examples: Ring camera, grill, YETI cooler, restaurant gift card, high-end sunglasses, wine basket, iPad, jewelry, cozy coffee basket, lake toys, etc.
These prizes will be showcased and awarded at the 12:30 PM Prize Giveaway at the Caddie Shack, giving you even more visibility.
Your logo will be displayed as a sponsor for this event and recognition will be provided.
Arrive at the Caddie Shack at 8:00 AM with your Realtor for breakfast, networking, and rule review.
Assist your Realtor with:
Setting up the home
Installing the yellow “Participating Home” sign in the front yard
Preparing the home: lights on, doors unlocked, toilet seats down…
Be hands-on and engaging with visitors. Introduce yourself and your services naturally while helping create a fun, welcoming environment.
You may place your professional sign(s) in the yard of the home you’re stationed in and in the Caddie Shack area.
You may run your own prize giveaway. If you do, you must provide your own sign in sheets.
You may present your gift during the prize give away at the Caddie Shack at 12:30.
You will be highlighted during the event as a sponsor via website, social media, and paper product distribution.
Your presence also serves as a safety barrier for the high volume of people touring each home.
Keep an extra eye on traffic flow, help manage crowds, and assist with keeping the property secure.

The best way to make your home shine during the event is to create a bright, welcoming, and inviting atmosphere:
Open all blinds and pull back drapes to maximize natural light.
Turn all lights on throughout the home.
Ensure toilet seats are down in bathrooms.
Add a calming scent (candles, plug-ins, or fresh flowers) to create a pleasant feel.
Play soft background music to set the tone.
Since it’s football season, consider having a game playing on the TV at low volume — this can encourage people to linger and really take in your home instead of breezing through.
First and foremost, the Emily Dieckmann Real Estate Team thanks you for allowing your agent to showcase your home during this exciting community event! The Scavenger Hunt has a strong track record of success — often resulting in one or more homes going under contract shortly after the event.
This fun, engaging format attracts buyers from all over and gives other Realtors and industry professionals the chance to preview your property and share it with their own buyers.
How It Works in Your Home
Each event participant will have a Scavenger Hunt game card.
When they visit your home, they will look for a hidden clue based on your home’s description.
Examples: Oversized shower, huge bay window, pool house, vaulted ceiling, outdoor kitchen.
Once they find the clue, they will hand their game card to your Realtor, who will add a sticker to their card (earning them a prize entry).
At least one additional industry professional will be in your home during the event to:
Help manage the flow of guests
Ensure your personal belongings are respected
Provide extra safety and security
These industry professionals can include lenders, handymen, landscapers, painters, cleaners, pool service providers, etc.
If you have trusted professionals you’d like to recommend, please share them with your Realtor — this event is a great way to thank them and for them to gain exposure and business.
Increased Exposure: Your home will be featured to dozens of buyers and Realtors in just a few hours.
Easy Access for Buyers: Buyers can see your home without needing to schedule a private showing first.
Agent Networking: Realtors from across the area gain valuable insight into what your home offers — they may already have the perfect buyer in mind.
